Materials used are 100% wool and 100% cotton fabrics.  Other fabrics may be used at customer request.  All buttonholes, eyelets, and grommets are hand sewn. 

A note on Confederate issued enlisted uniforms:  There is no evidence that the CSN issued gray uniforms made of any fabric other than Jean Cloth.  They also do not appear to have issued anything but Fly front trousers with side seam or mule ear pockets in Jean Cloth. If the customer wishes a "private purchase", "Tailor Made" uniform of a different fabric, we will be happy to work with you."

Officer Uniforms:

As with our enlisted uniforms, we will use 100% wool as the base fabric.  If requested, we will make uniforms of other fabrics, adjusting the price to the cost of the fabrics.  We use “Sateen” for linings.  Button holes on Frock coat are hand sewn with black silk thread.

Frock coat:  This is an untrimmed coat, rank insignia is not included.
