  We are Steve and Karen Hesson.  Having served 26 years in the US Navy, we are fortunate enough to be able to spend our full time producing accurate, quality reproductions of Navy uniforms of the American Civil War. Karen has over 30 years of professional tailoring experience, particularly with Navy uniforms. Together, we have been reproducing authentic clothing for the reenacting and Living History community for over ten years.  We welcome special orders for fabric choices, options and size. Together, we have examined original artifacts and photographs to ensure accuracy and authenticity in construction and detail. We also recognize that body shapes and sizes have changed from the 19^th century and are experienced in adjusting patterns to fit the modern shape
